PDF Compare features pixel-to-pixel comparison without any loss of information. A pair of colors are used to highlight the differences. By default, red and cyan are used to display the left and right documents. It's a merged page containing contents from both documents.

 

When the contents in the left and right PDF files are the same, the color of the merged contents is black. For example, in the illustration below, TERMS AND CONDITIONS are the same, in location, size, font, and spacing. However, the underlined word 'Termination' that constitutes a paragraph is different.
